Hi, I purchased XStore and imported the “Games Dark” demo on a fresh WordPress installation using XAMPP localhost.

The import process finishes successfully, but the homepage appears broken and incomplete.

    Problems:
    – missing images/sliders
    – incomplete layout
    – only partial text/menu visible
    – Elementor editor also shows broken sections

    Installed and activated plugins:
    – XStore Core
    – WooCommerce
    – Elementor
    – Slider Revolution
    – PRO Elements

    System info:
    – PHP 8.2.12
    – WordPress 6.9.4
    – Memory limit 512M
    – Localhost with XAMPP

    I already tried:
    – reinstalling the demo
    – reinstalling plugins
    – increasing PHP limits
    – clearing Elementor cache

Could you please help me import the demo correctly or identify what is causing the incomplete layout?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I recorded a complete video showing the issue.

    In the video I show:

    XAMPP running correctly
    PHP limits increased
    required plugins active
    Games Dark demo imported
    homepage assigned correctly
final broken frontend result with missing images/layout

    Video link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1frb965eeD7xuszs3wC4ozMEj2D1ATkxx/view?usp=sharing

Please help me make the Games Dark demo look exactly like the preview.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Please disable all 3rd-party plugins and then import the demo content.
We kindly ask you to deactivate all plugins and, during the import process, activate only those that are absolutely necessary.

Should you wish to perform the import process independently, please ensure to remove the previously imported demo content https://gyazo.com/37049e537d84eefd7c1101f484058a67 before importing the desired version via XStore > Import demos.

Should the issue persist, please do not hesitate to contact us again. It is very important to temporarily deactivate all third-party plugins prior to importing the demo content, as they may interfere with the process.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hi,

I followed all your instructions step by step:

    disabled all third-party plugins
left only the required plugins active
removed the previous imported demo completely
created and activated the child theme
reimported the Games Dark demo from scratch
    increased all PHP limits correctly
assigned “Home games-dark” as the homepage in Settings → Reading

The import process completes successfully and the homepage is created correctly.

However, the frontend is still broken:

    images are missing
    slider/assets are not loading correctly
    layout is incomplete
    only some text/header sections appear

    I also tested:

    clearing Elementor cache
    restarting Apache/XAMPP
    reimporting the demo multiple times

The issue still persists on localhost with XAMPP.

I attached a new screenshot showing the current frontend result after the clean reimport.

Could you please check if there is:

    a missing asset package,
    slider import issue,
    localhost compatibility issue,
or another required step for this specific demo?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,

Could you please provide screenshots of the plugins that are active on your site before you start the import?
Also, could you give us access to your test site that is online, where we could test the import process? We have checked how the import works on our own test sites, and we did not encounter such an issue there.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your assistance and support during the troubleshooting process.

I finally solved the issue by moving the website from localhost/XAMPP to an online hosting environment. After performing a clean installation online and reimporting the Games Dark demo, everything imported correctly and the frontend is now working perfectly.

It seems the issue was related to the localhost/XAMPP environment rather than the theme itself.

I really appreciate your patience and guidance throughout the process. Thank you again!
