Hello, I’d like to ask what I can do to speed up my website using the XStore template. Currently, for example, the PageSpeed Insights tool returns the following metrics:
    First Contentful Paint
    4.7 s
    Speed Index
    8.8 s
    Rendering the most content
    10.7 s
    Efficiency
    57%

The store runs quite slowly, even though there aren’t too many products on the site. Could you suggest what I can do to speed it up?

    Best Regards
    Marek

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To improve the loading speed of your website using the XStore template, we recommend the following steps:
    1. Optimize Images: Ensure that all images are properly compressed and use modern formats such as WebP.
    2. Use a Caching Plugin: Implement a reliable caching solution (e.g., WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, or LiteSpeed Cache) to reduce server response time.
    3. Enable a CDN: Use a Content Delivery Network to deliver your content faster to users from different locations.
    4. Minify CSS and JavaScript: Reduce the size of your CSS and JS files by enabling minification and combining them where possible.
    5. Disable Unused Plugins: Deactivate and remove any plugins that are not essential to your website’s functionality.
    6. Optimize Database: Regularly clean and optimize your WordPress database to improve performance.
    7. Check Server Performance: Ensure that your hosting plan provides sufficient resources for your store’s needs.

    Hello,

    thank you for the response.

I’ve already made some core updates and installed cache plugin, it looks better. Unfortunately, I’ve got problem with last 4.0.3 Elementor update installation. Could you give me some advice on this? Everytime I try to install it, I got some message:

“Update could not be done: There was a problem with copy the file. elementor/assets/js/editor-one-top-bar.min.js” – different file source each time.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

Thank you for your message and for the updates you have already made.

Regarding the issue with the Elementor 4.0.3 update, please try the following steps:
    1. Temporarily deactivate all third-party plugins except Elementor and the Core plugin, then attempt the update again.
    2. Ensure that your server file permissions are correctly set (usually 755 for folders and 644 for files).
    3. Clear your website and browser cache before retrying the update.
    4. If the issue persists, try updating Elementor manually by downloading the latest version from the internet (this is a free plugin) and uploading it manually via FTP.

    Best Regards,
