I created a new store page, it looks fine when I published it. The minute I assigned it as the store on woocommerce – it doesn’t look right.

It is not possible to create a custom page with static content and assign it as the shop page, as such templates display dynamic content and are loaded based on specific WooCommerce conditions. You can create an empty Shop page, assign it as Shop in your WooCommerce settings and then modify the content of such page using our Archive products builder.
