Additional Variation Images – Lightbox Issue – XStore Theme

Hi Support Team,

First of all, I would like to say that XStore is a fantastic template! I really enjoy working with it and appreciate the overall quality of the theme.

I am reaching out because I’ve encountered a specific issue regarding the Lightbox functionality in the product gallery.

On simple products, the Lightbox works perfectly fine. However, when using the default Variation Images Gallery for variable products, the Lightbox does not trigger or display at all when clicking on the images within specific variations.

I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, including:

Enabling and disabling the Variation Images Gallery functionality.
Toggling the Zoom feature on and off.
Clearing the entire browser cache and site cache.
Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue. Could you please look into this and let me know how to restore the Lightbox functionality for variable products?

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

Sure, I’ve pasted the data below. Please let me know if you make any changes and where they were made.

In the meantime, I found a solution on the forum in the form of the code #add_filter(‘etheme_single_product_variation_gallery_lightbox’, ‘__return_true’);, but I don’t think that should be the ultimate solution to the problem.

However, we agree that this should not be considered the final resolution, and we will continue investigating the issue to ensure a proper fix in future updates. For now, we kindly suggest using the attached PHP snippet. Please note that adding this filter globally may affect the single product layouts of other customers’ websites, so we recommend adding the snippet to your child theme’s functions.php file or using a custom snippets plugin.
