Hello @Jacomijn,
Please provide us with more details, including the URL of the page you are editing. As you can see, this is a default widget provided by Elementor, so its styles and layout are inherited from our theme. You can modify the layout globally in “Theme Options → WooCommerce → Categories”.
We also recommend using our built-in widgets, which offer more features and customization options. For example, we suggest trying the “Spotlight Categories” widget: https://gyazo.com/2ed0f514be7398692fb97863dfcd1b7e (demo: https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor3/grocery-mega-market/shop).

Hi Jack,
Thanks for your answer. I’ve tried to use the Spotlight Category with the data source ‘including ID’s’. I’ve filled in 4 categories, but they aren’t showed; it’s an empty banner now. What do I do wrong? See URL in private content. Thank you!
Hello, Jacomijn,
As we can see, four categories are currently being displayed. It is possible that you had cached data. Please note that categories may not appear if they do not contain any products.

Hi Andrew,
I think that the 4 categories you see, are below the light grey banner? Because that is another widget; ‘Product categories’ (I made that yesterday, because the spotlight didn’t work). The grey banner is the Spotlight widget. I’ve added a title and ‘New’ & ‘Sale’, so you can see the difference better. There are products in the categories, so that should not be the problem. The 4 categories you see below, in the circles, are the ones I would like to see in the Spotlight widget.
Hello, Jacomijn,
Thank you for the clarification. In this case, please provide us with access to the administrative panel and the FTP of your website.

Sorry! Now it should work.
Thank you for providing access. We have made some changes; please check on your side to confirm whether the issue has been resolved.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your reply! I looked at it, but see the same problem, unfortunately. 🙁 See snippets. I choose to include 4 categories, but then the banner is empty again.
Hello, Jacomijn,
Thank you for contacting us. This situation occurs because the specified categories do not contain any products available for purchase. The widget displays only those categories that include at least one product that can be bought (i.e., a product with a price and available stock).

Hi Andrew, thanks for your reply and see my comments in private and snippets.
Hello, Jacomijn,
We sincerely apologize that the previous solution did not resolve the issue. We kindly ask you to provide us with FTP access.
To grant FTP access, please share the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please contact your hosting provider, who will guide you through the process.
