As far as we can see, everything is working correctly for logged-in users (admin), and the unnecessary element is displayed only for non-logged-in users. This indicates it is a result of caching. You need to clear the cache so that all users, not only logged-in ones, can see the updated, non-cached version.
It seems that you are using a CDN. If you are unable to clear the CDN cache yourself, please contact your hosting provider for assistance. After clearing the cache, everything should work properly.
