Tried to unregister the theme but still update failed

    Hi,

    I could not update the theme and also the xstore core.
    Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
    Tried to unregister and register the theme license again but still not working.
    Please help. Thank you.

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hi,

    Could you please provide FTP access or perform the manual update?

    Download theme’s .zip file https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-package/ , go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload archive > Install > Replace with uploaded.
    Then, download the Core plugin archive (The Core plugin file is typically included in the full theme package available on ThemeForest )
    Go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Upload plugin > Choose downloaded plugin > Install now > click on “Replace current with uploaded”.
    Then, clear all caches and check the result of updates.

    It works now, thank you.
    For next updates I still need to do it manually like this? Or it can be updated using wordpress dashboard?

    Hello,

    1/ Please set the administrator role for the user you created for us earlier in the wp-admin panel

    2/ We can’t connect FTP:

    Error:         	Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
    Error:         	Could not connect to server

    Please check it. Try to connect to FTP using FileZilla by yourself and provide us with the correct credentials.
    Is there a restriction by IP or something else that doesn’t allow us to connect?

    Thank you for providing access. We have identified that the issue is related to the presence of a whitelist or blacklist. Please add the following IP addresses as exceptions: 148.251.192.47 and 176.9.106.102
