Hi, I have updated the theme, WC & Elementor this morning and cleared the CDN cache. I now find the ‘add to cart’ button is not working on the product pages. I have tested lots of pages but none work. When choosing a size or colour the mouse changes to a cursor and although an option is selected, none add to cart.

Adding to cart by selecting options via ‘quick view’ is working though.

I see there is a previous thread regarding this issue but the solution wasn’t given. Could you please look at this, thanks.

I attach wp access details in case you need them. Thanks

In this case, we kindly ask you to provide us with a link to the product that cannot be added to the cart, as well as the FTP access details.

Nothing can be added to cart, no products at all. One example is: https://www.tiffanyhart.co.uk/product/girdle-dress-with-6-suspenders/ but they are all the same. Cart is only available if accessed by ‘quick view’, not on product pages. Have you tested this yourself?

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce this issue. Please try clearing your browser cache and let us know the type and version of the browser you are using.

Lucky for Google Translate, why is my answer in Ukranian?

I already mentioned I had cleared all browser caches, site caches and CDN. Multiple times.

I have tested in Edge, Chrome, Firefox, AVG Secure Browser (all latest versions) and also on mobile. All have the same results – unable to add any products to cart.

Also in admin centre, cannot add to cart so it is not just the live site.

This is now the 3rd day that I am unable to take orders on the site.

If you are unable to see the problem, can you show me a video clip of where you see the add to cart working?

Please review the attached video, which demonstrates the process of adding items to the cart.

Well I don’t understand this at all then. What browser are you looking in? I have again flushed the CDN cache just now and also I have phoned 3 friends and asked them to go to tiffanyhart and try to place an order. All 3 reported that the ‘add to cart’ button did not work for them.

As the ‘add to cart’ button does work correctly on the quick view, I have checked the code in developers console and do see a difference in that bit of code. I don’t know whether that could be the issue.

The code on ‘quick view’ is:

The code on the main product page reads:

I’ve also checked this against my other site and the code on the main product page is the same as on ‘quick view’ on Tiffany Hart.

The only difference is the word ‘disabled’.

Could you please check again as this is a big issue. We can’t sell anything.

    Thanks Debbie

Oh, it won’t let me add the code script but if you click on the button it will show you the code

We have tested this in the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, as well as on mobile devices – Chrome on Android and both Chrome and Safari on iPhone. The addition works correctly in all cases. We have also checked it in both normal and incognito modes. Please review the attached video.

I asked a developer friend to check this earlier and even he said he couldn’t add to cart.

This afternoon, there were further updates to WC (from 10.5.1 to 10.5.2) & Elementor (from 3.35.4 to 3.35.5).

After completing these updates the Add to Cart is now working in all browsers so there must have been an issue there somewhere.

Anyway, seems to be okay now I’ve completed these updates.
