Cart and Checkout Pages Using Incorrect CSS / Font Style

Dear 8Theme Support Team,

I am currently working with your XStore theme and really enjoy it so far.

While taking the next step in developing my e-shop, I seem to have unintentionally affected the CSS styling of the cart and checkout pages. The rest of the website appears to be styled correctly, but the cart and checkout pages are not — most noticeably, an incorrect font is being used.

I have the impression that these pages might be using a different CSS source, although I am not aware of making any specific changes related to this.

Could you please help me identify and correct this issue?

Please edit your cart or checkout page, then inspect the corresponding element under the Styles tab and adjust the font as desired:

Hi 8Theme Team,

I may have described the issue incorrectly in my previous message, so I apologize for that.

The problem does not seem to affect only the cart and checkout styling, but rather something that impacts the entire website when I enter the cart or checkout page. As soon as I navigate to the cart, the font breaks everywhere — including the top menu, forms, and all text elements. The font becomes very bold and also causes issues with Czech language characters.

Once I click to any other page, everything returns to normal and the site looks fine again.

It seems that something is affecting the CSS only while I am on the cart or checkout page, as if the main CSS file is not being loaded correctly, or as if a different CSS is being applied specifically on these pages.

Could you please help me identify what might be causing this behavior?

I have noticed that the same font issue also appears on My Account → Dashboard.
This suggests that I must have changed something that affects the font not only on a cart and chekcout but also at My Account pages.
I did add a small amount of custom CSS, but it should not affect fonts in any way.
I also imported some website sections from your library, taken from a different XStore template.

What I find interesting is that the rest of the pages are working perfectly fine and the issue occurs only on these specific pages.

Hello @Dave6641,

Thank you for your message.

Please check again now. It was necessary to manually set the DM Sans font for some elements on your Cart and Checkout pages to ensure the correct font file assets are loaded. For example: https://prnt.sc/JtY0R4semhd9

We have also noticed that the same font issue appears on the My Account page. So we implemented the same solution on mentioned page.

Hello Jack,

thank you very much for your help. The styling and fonts are now back to normal.
Unfortunately, I am still not sure what exactly caused the issue or how to prevent it from happening again, but I truly appreciate your support.
The e-shop looks great again and I can continue working on developing my first online store.
