    Hi.
When we share the pinterest from the sharing tool on the product page, it gives a URL error. Please tell us how we can fix this…

    Hello @Nadeem latif,

Could you please let us know whether this error occurs with specific products or with all items? We would also appreciate it if you could test the share buttons on a newly created product that includes only a simple description and no additional modifications. This will help us determine whether the issue is related to particular product content or excerpts.

Additionally, we have found that such issues may occur when the application is not updated to the latest version. Therefore, we kindly ask you to ensure that your app is up to date.

    Hello, Nadeem,

It appears that Pinterest is being blocked by your hosting provider: https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=https%3A%2F%2Faboutapparels.com%2F&rs=typed.

Could you please contact your hosting provider’s support team to address this issue?

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Could you please add the following rule to your robots.txt file?

    User-agent: Pinterestbot
    Allow: /

If the issue persists, please contact your hosting support team for further assistance.

As you can see, our demo website is functioning correctly: https://prnt.sc/K6fQlOGHWgpg.

    Hello,

    1. We have reviewed your robots.txt file but did not find the following rule:

    User-agent: Pinterestbot
    Allow: /

    User-agent: Pinterest
    Allow: /

    2. Security Plugins / Server Firewall

If you are using security plugins such as Wordfence, iThemes Security, or WP Cerber, please disable options like “Block bad bots” or “Advanced bot protection,” or alternatively, whitelist Pinterest IPs and user agents.

For hosting firewalls (e.g., Imunify360, ModSecurity), please whitelist Pinterest as well.

    3. Cloudflare: Adjust Bot and Firewall Rules (a common cause)

If you are using Cloudflare, this is often the main source of the issue. Please perform the following checks:

    – Security → Bots
Disable or relax Bot Fight Mode.

    – Security → WAF / Firewall Rules
Ensure that no rule is blocking Pinterestbot.

    – Security Level
Set the level to *Medium* (not *High* or *Under Attack*).

    – Rate Limiting
Make sure that image URLs are not subject to rate limiting.

After making these changes, please clear the Cloudflare cache.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team

    Hello, Nadeem,

Have you updated the Cloudflare settings as we discussed in our previous message?

    Best regards,
