    Hello XStore Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am having a serious issue with Google Merchant Center related to the Misrepresentation policy, and I need your assistance. My previous Merchant Center account was suspended because Google detected misleading information on my website, and unfortunately, my new account is also facing the same issue.

Google claims that the problem is related to one or more of the following areas:

Product data (titles, descriptions, or pricing)

    Store policies (shipping, returns, terms)

    Missing or unclear business information

    User trust and transparency signals

I have reviewed my settings and product data, and I tried to follow Google’s guidelines, but I was not able to identify the exact cause. Since XStore theme controls a large part of the store structure, I would really appreciate your help in checking if there is any configuration, template element, or structural issue that could be causing Google to flag my website.

If needed, I am willing to provide you with temporary admin access so you can review the store and help me resolve this issue.

Here are additional details Google showed:

    Issue: Misrepresentation
Result: All products are disapproved in Saudi Arabia
    Detection: Automated system review
Impact: Products are not eligible to appear on free listings or Shopping ads

This issue is critical for my business, and I would be very grateful if you could assist me in identifying what may be causing Google to consider the website misleading.

Please let me know what information or access you need from my side, and I will provide it immediately.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Dear @Omar Quddam,

All the product data are generated by WooCommerce plugin.

To fix “Misleading product description” errors in Google Merchant Center (GMC) for WooCommerce, you need to make sure your product data (title, description, images, price, and availability) match exactly what users see on your website.
Below is a clear, step-by-step guide specifically for WooCommerce:

    1. Identify Exactly Which Products Are Flagged

    In Google Merchant Center:
    Products → Diagnostics → Misrepresentation → “Misleading”
    Download the affected items (CSV).

    Check:

    - Title
    - Description
    - Price
    - Images
    - Condition (new/used)
    - Variants

    2. Make Sure WooCommerce Product Title ≠ Over-Optimized

Google flags if your title contains “marketing words” or things not shown on the product page.

Fix: Use a clean format: Brand + Product Name + Key Attribute (optional)
    Example:

    - Wrong: “🔥 Best Seller! Premium Luxury Leather Bag – 50% Off”
    - Correct: “XYZ Leather Shoulder Bag – Brown”

    3. Match the Description to the Real Product

Google flags when descriptions are exaggerated or don’t match the product features.

Fix in WooCommerce: Go to Products → Edit Product → Description

    Remove claims like:

    - “Best on the market”
    - “100% guaranteed results”
    - “#1 product in UAE”

Keep it factual and match what’s actually delivered.

    4. Ensure Price + Availability Match the Live Website

One of the biggest causes of “misleading description”.

    Issues:

    - Price in feed ≠ price on website
    - Product is “in stock” in feed but “out of stock” on site

    Fix:

If using WooCommerce → Google Listings & Ads plugin:

    - Go to Marketing → Google Listing & Ads → Sync
    - Run “Force Sync”

If using other feed plugins (CTX Feed, Product Feed PRO): Enable automatic feed update every 1–4 hours

    5. Avoid Using Stock Images or Images Showing Another Product

Google flags if the product image doesn’t accurately show what the buyer receives.

    Fix: Use actual product photos

    Don’t use:

    - lifestyle models when selling the item only
    - photos that show accessories not included
    - watermarks that cover the product

    6. Check Variant Consistency (Common WooCommerce Problem)

If you sell variations (size, color, type), you must ensure:

    - Correct color / size attribute in feed
    - Matching SKU, image and price for each variation
    - No “Default attributes” incorrectly loaded in the feed

Some feed plugins send the wrong parent description, causing a mismatch → Google disapproves.

    Fix:

If your plugin has this setting:

    - "Send variation description instead of parent description"
    - “Use variation-specific image”

    7. Make Sure Shipping Information Is Accurate

Misleading shipping pricing also triggers this error.

Fix: Add correct shipping via GMC:

Tools → Shipping → Add Delivery Service

Or connect WooCommerce shipping tables → GMC.

    8. Avoid Over-promising Claims

    Remove wording like:

    - “Guaranteed delivery in 24h” (unless guaranteed)
    - “Lifetime warranty” without details
    - “Free gifts” not automatically included
    - Google checks site + feed + checkout pages.

    9. Resubmit and Request Review

    After fixing:

    In Merchant Center:

Products → Diagnostics → Request Review

    Review usually takes:

    - 24–72 hours for individual products
    - 3–7 days for account-level issues

    Hope it helps!

Thank you, but does this mean the warning is due to the products? If I only delete the products and upload a few that I can edit, is that acceptable since I can’t edit all of them?

    Hello @Omar Quddam,

Thank you for your message. The warning may indeed be related to the products. If you delete the existing products and upload only a few that you are able to edit, that would be acceptable. Please ensure that the new products are properly configured and editable to avoid similar issues in the future. Also, we would suggest you to contact the WooCommerce support (https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/) as your request is related to the functionality of mentioned plugin rather then our theme’s configuration.
