1st the website is running very slow. Need a solution for that.

The category filters are inconsistent — in some cases they work, but often clicking on a category filter causes the page to hang indefinitely (keeps loading with no result).
Once a category filter is clicked and the page stops responding, no further clicks or navigation are possible on the filter menu.
Hover behavior shows the correct link at the bottom, but the click action never executes.
In short, the filters intermittently fail to load products, leading to poor user experience and slow responsiveness overall.

All theme files, PHP version, and codebase are fully updated — no configuration issues found.
When adding a simple product to the cart, the slide cart opens correctly.
However, when adding a variable product (with options), the page reloads and redirects to the product category (e.g., Handpipes) instead of showing the slide cart.
The slide cart does not auto-open in this case — it only appears when manually clicked.
