    Hi,

I need help updating the layout of my “Amazon Must-Haves” section. Currently, the first picture is taken from my page (screenshot attached). I want the layout pictures to look bigger and a little elongated, with space for a short description under each image.

Additionally, I’d like to change the background color to black for a more cohesive and elegant look. The following attached images are sample references for the style I’m going for.

Can you help me achieve this look?

    Thank you so much!
    Lani

This is complicated. How do I get to this page (screenshot)? How do I get the “structure” column on the left to show up? Can you help me with the layout, please?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for the video. I reviewed it several times, but I encountered a few issues:

I couldn’t access the “Structure” option in the right corner. I’m not sure if you clicked or right-clicked to open it, but I tried both and didn’t see a “Structure” box appear.

When I tried adding a column, I only had two layout choices, unlike the options you showed in the video (please see the screenshot).

I’d like the layout to appear as wide as my blog post — not just 4 boxes. On mobile, it should show 2 boxes per line (same as my blog post layout) with a slider.

Could you please check and guide me on how to fix these? Or could you help me achieve this?

Your support means a lot thanks

I see the screenshots did not attach I will send them in the ff email.

    Hello @Lani,

You can enable or disable the navigation in the Elementor editor by following this link: https://prnt.sc/der7iRXq10As.

Watch the tutorials about the Page navigations: https://elementor.com/help/navigator/.

You may select the Flexbox type and then choose the number of Containers (formally: columns) you would like to add. This process is demonstrated in the video shared earlier by another support manager, so please review it carefully.

We also recommend watching some tutorials, such as this one: https://elementor.com/help/container-element/, to become more familiar with working in the Elementor editor, as we noticed you have a few related questions.

    Hi,

I’m still having some difficulties, so I thought it might be easier to try adding a pre-made XStore template.

As shown in the first screenshot, my affiliate posts (white background) don’t match the width of my main blog posts above — I tried to add sections, but they’re still contained within that main box and won’t extend… This is actually where I need support.

I tried adding a pre-made template that looks like the one in the second screenshot, but I’ve disabled WooCommerce since I decided to just include a link to my Amazon page instead.

Could you please advise or help me fix this issue?

Thank you so much for your time and assistance!

    Dear @Lani,

Your homepage is currently using the default template, which means the container has a fixed width of 1140px:

    https://prnt.sc/LUQQgyqbqX-z

We have changed it to the Elementor Full Width template, allowing you to control the container width as needed:

    Hi,

Thanks for the changes! However, I noticed that when I zoom out in my browser, this section becomes very small, unlike my blog posts, which stay consistent in size. Can you fix that? (see screenshot)

I’d also like to add more content, but I’d prefer it to have a slider. How do we add that?

On mobile, instead of showing all the blocks in a long vertical scroll, could it display 2 blocks on top and 2 below with a slider? If that’s not possible, maybe just 1 or 2 blocks with a slider would work.
Can you help me set that up, please?

Question: If I download an XStore template that requires WooCommerce, should I activate WooCommerce even if I’m not actually using it, since I just plan to paste direct links to my Amazon shop?

    Thanks!

We’ve changed the width of that container to 90%, it should be wider now.

I’d also like to add more content, but I’d prefer it to have a slider. How do we add that?

You can try with Xstore Slider element: https://prnt.sc/A_WJD4OicjF1 https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/slider-set-up/xstore-slider-with-elementor-plugin/

Question: If I download an XStore template that requires WooCommerce, should I activate WooCommerce even if I’m not actually using it, since I just plan to paste direct links to my Amazon shop?

If you don’t use the Products from WooCommerce, please don’t activate the WooCommerce plugin, it will slow down your website.

    Hello,

Thanks for the support. However, I think there has been a misunderstanding.

Adjusting the container width didn’t resolve the issue. Even when I zoom out, the Amazon product images still shrink, while the blog post above and the slider below keep their original size. Please see the screenshot for reference.

On mobile, the Amazon products display vertically. This means that for all 6 Amazon product images, users need to scroll down one by one. In contrast, my blog posts show two posts side by side with a slider button to browse the next posts. I was hoping the Amazon section could work the same way—side by side with a horizontal slider.

I’ve attached screenshots of the XStore templates I wanted to use. The issue is that they require WooCommerce, and as you mentioned, enabling WooCommerce may slow down my site since I’m not actually selling through it—I’m only linking to my shop.

Given this, what would be the best workaround so I can still achieve the layout and slider functionality without enabling WooCommerce?

    Thank you!

    Hello @Lani,

    1. We have updated the layout to full width: https://prnt.sc/7rJi6YClkDTF. Could you please check it again?

    2. Unfortunately, this is not possible unless the WooCommerce plugin is activated. As an alternative, you may duplicate this section, replace the image, product title, and price, and then link it to the Amazon products: https://prnt.sc/7–A9k2pw_JK

    Hi,

Thank you for the support. I think there may have been a misunderstanding, so I just wanted to clarify a few points.
    For #1:
The layout is currently too large, and it overshadows the blog post above it. Could you guide me on how to adjust the size?

Also, on mobile (very important), the Amazon products/posts display vertically, so users need to scroll down through all six product images one by one, and now, as they are very big-it consumes the whole screen.
My blog posts, however, show two posts side by side with a horizontal slider to browse more. I was hoping the Amazon section could function the same way—side by side with a horizontal slider.
    For #2:
The link you provided says the screenshot was removed, so I wasn’t able to view it.
Let me know the next steps. Thank you!
