Problem with columns in product descriptions and inconsistency between mobile version and desktop version
Hello @JohnyB,
Could you please avoid combining all the questions in one message? It becomes quite difficult to provide accurate answers for each inquiry, as explaining every solution requires considerable time.
Regarding your question about Mailchimp: as you can see from the logged-in browser, there is a notice for you as the administrator -> https://prnt.sc/Xf_isxeAXOXb. You need to review the documentation for this plugin and configure it according to your requirements, including your own settings and permissions -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/.
To edit the product content, open the Elementor editor for the specific product you wish to modify -> https://prnt.sc/YZk1t8JN7T5J. If you would like to display the content in several columns, use a different element and place the content inside it -> https://prnt.sc/xSJ-HuAAFV8V (before) vs -> https://prnt.sc/5-aEjGzI0wwh. If you have not worked with Elementor before, we recommend watching some tutorials. Please note that creating product content in Elementor is not a feature provided by our support. While we can suggest possible solutions, we are unable to create the content for each customer. Please refer to the private content for an example of improved product content.
If you wish to have equal columns on both sides, you can use the Grid element -> https://gyazo.com/bb3d8de1bf3bf93b0bb24b52a9fc435e. You may also combine several widgets instead of using only the default text editor—feel free to explore creative ideas.
Regarding the issue with incorrect links in the mobile menu: please configure the URLs of your menu items via Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus -> https://prnt.sc/uXFuTX5X8_6M. On desktop, it works correctly because a different widget (Icons List) is displayed -> https://prnt.sc/kmJ5pmoIZFn2, which is not related to the menu items. We have already configured the main items, so you can review them on your side.
To configure the items in the Mobile Panel, go to Theme Options -> Mobile Panel -> https://prnt.sc/Ra1qhmDvkmvx. Currently, we have set the main menu for the “More Toggle 01” menu option. You can see the frontend result here -> https://prnt.sc/XRz9xwDK_Xo6.

Sorry, it just wouldn’t let me open new topics, so I decided to combine the issues.
I’m not sure if you understood my problem with Mailchimp. On the mobile version, I don’t have lines for entering the email like on the desktop version. I also don’t understand why additional plugins are needed after this template is set in the theme? Can’t I just receive the emails of all registered users or is it mandatory to do this through an additional plugin? I’m just worried that I’ll have too many plugins and there’s a chance that I’ll make the site slow in the future.
Thanks for the comprehensive information, it was certainly useful to me, but I was wondering if there’s no way to do it as a setting for all products at once, because I’ve already manually uploaded 20 products, or do I have to do it for each one one by one?
The problem with the mobile version is solved, thank you very much. This information was also useful to me.
Another problem arose when you fixed one of the last ones. The previous developer had made the product title and image be on the same line, but I don’t know how he did it and I can’t find this setting. It currently looks like picture 1. It used to look like picture 2
Hello @JohnyB,
If you are logged in as an administrator, you will see the Mailchimp form on both desktop and mobile views (https://prnt.sc/7YqGAiLhG4Zw). However, if you check the same area while not logged in, the form will not be visible. We have already explained the reasons for this above. The mailing system is not included in the theme by default, so you need to install an additional plugin such as Mailchimp (currently in use) or Contact Form 7.
You will need to manually modify the content of each product, as this content may be unique. If you use the same content for all products, you can create a Static Block or an Elementor template and add it to all products. This way, you can manage and update the content in one place only.
Static Block documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/support/static-blocks/
Elementor template usage: https://wpdeveloper.com/elementor-template-shortcode/
Regarding your question about content alignment, we noticed that your developer made some improvements using custom CSS. The spacing issue you see (https://prnt.sc/ps8TegpufSZK) is caused by padding applied to the top of the content. If you prefer to remove it, you can delete the custom CSS shown in the screenshot by navigating to Theme Options -> Theme Custom CSS -> Global CSS.
