    Hi,

I’m reaching out regarding a translation issue with the Sales Booster “Waiting List” functionality in your theme.

Our site’s primary language is Slovene, and we’ve configured the Waiting List strings accordingly in the theme settings. We’re then using WPML to provide English and Croatian translations for our site.

    The issue:
While we’ve located and translated all the relevant strings in WPML’s String Translation interface, only some translations are working properly on the frontend:

✓ The Waiting List button in the product grid correctly displays translated text.
✗ Other Waiting List elements that appear in the popup (form fields, messages, etc.) remain in Slovene regardless of the selected language.

    We’ve already ensured that:
    – All strings are properly entered in WPML’s String Translation section
    – The translations are marked as complete
    – WPML is correctly configured for our languages

Could you please advise on how to make all Waiting List elements properly respect the site’s current language?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best, Sanja

    Dear @Sanja,

We’ve just scanned all missing strings from the XStore theme & XStore Core plugin and they now works fine.

Could you please add the translations again?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    thank you for fast reply.

The link you sent includes strings that appear in the settings, not on the frontend.

Please see attached screenshots where you can see that how we defined those strings in the settings. Then we also translated those strings to both languages (english and croatian) but the strings appear in Slovene on frontend and don’t recognize the strings we added in the backend.

We also manually scanned child theme again if this would solve the issue, but it didn’t – no new strings were found and the previous ones still have translations added but are not visible on frontend.

    Dear Sanja,

Our development team has already defined the theme setting fields in the wpml-config.xml file within the XStore theme. This means that these texts are translatable: https://prnt.sc/IFUqNaaIaZ5Y.

We recommend disabling all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the problem persists, we suggest contacting the WPML support team for further assistance.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
