General problems on theme setup from cache to product category.

    Hey team,

    We’re running into some significant issues with the new theme and haven’t been able to get it live after two weeks of work. We need your support to resolve these problems.

    Here are the specific issues we’ve identified:

    Caching problems: The theme appears to have a very aggressive internal server-side cache that is making it nearly impossible to see changes in real time. We’ve confirmed there is no CDN or hosting cache active.

    Category page customization: We’re unable to customize the category page title, description, and images. We tried editing this through xtore – option – shop layout but it’s not working. The page always defaults to “Shop” and doesn’t display the category-specific image, title, or description (e.g., https://nwdrones.store/product-category/storage/).

    Smart search: We can’t find a way to change the placeholder text for the smart search bar.

    Menu delay: There is a noticeable delay when opening the “Drones” menu on category pages.

    Could you please provide guidance or assistance on these issues? We’re blocked on moving forward and would appreciate any help you can offer.

    Could you kindly provide more details regarding the caching issue you are experiencing? Additionally, the URL you shared appears to be returning a 404 error and is not displaying correctly. We would appreciate it if you could clarify the issue you are encountering with the mobile menu—if possible, please attach a video demonstrating the problem.

    Regarding the search text placeholder, you can modify it by navigating to the Header Builder and adjusting the settings in the Header Ajax Search widget.

    I attached the images below.

    1. Following the documentation and changing from dynamic to page, looks like every time I add a item in the wishlist, it don’t appear in the wishlist custom page.

    2. The product image thumbnails are like absolute over the main selected images, I already did this change in the xtore-options, (maybe I’m updating the wrong option)?

    3. I’m trying to add in the category page the title, description and the image, but the most I can is add the thumbnail, and the thumbnail get the image as background, looks like no mater what I change in the builder nothing happens.

    4. Menu delay:

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin access? We need to check your settings.

    Hi guys, appreciate the support, regarding the product categories, I edit the product archive template to add the description from the category but it doesn’t reflect, so I don’t know if there is any other settings that I must change to make the product category page have the category title, description and image.

    Upon reviewing your website, we noticed that you have added custom content to the Shop page description, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/XXYjBIBqJpu_. This content is correctly displayed on the frontend: https://prnt.sc/GzBedBskUsvl.

    Regarding the product category, we have temporarily added some custom text to the following term for testing purposes: https://prnt.sc/eoxXe59etI8h. However, on the frontend, the description area appears to be empty, and it seems that the category description was not saved properly: https://prnt.sc/14heAp4kNdFF.

    To further investigate the issue, we recommend creating a new product category and adding only a title and description to test whether the content is saved and displayed correctly. Additionally, we kindly suggest checking your server logs for any potential errors. You may need to contact your hosting provider for assistance with this.

    If the issue persists and you require further support, please provide us with temporary FTP access by attaching the credentials in the private area.

    Hi guys, I double check and thats what I mean about “cache” I don’t know where it’s comming.

    If you check this url: https://nwdrones.store/categoria/drones-profissionais/ now have the description after 2 days, but the one you created haven’t https://nwdrones.store/categoria/drones-2/ (so isn’t about being a new or old category).

    That said, even for the one who appeared now ( https://nwdrones.store/categoria/drones-profissionais) the image is like a background in the breadcrumb and I don’t think that is the only way you create the theme because isn’t necessary as background it make more sense as an image for seo

    You can display the product category image that you have assigned to a category in any image-based widget by using Dynamic Tags. Please refer to the following screenshot for guidance: https://prnt.sc/YFDbDe9uZRGc.

    Additionally, we recommend setting the padding directly within the Breadcrumbs widget (as shown here: https://prnt.sc/qdrkyf9U2-EN), rather than applying it globally in the Layout settings. This approach ensures that the breadcrumbs image is displayed correctly, as illustrated in the following example: https://prnt.sc/AkRWM3Ksj8vG.

    Lastly, we advise enabling a caching plugin during the final stages of website development. This will help prevent viewing cached results and outdated frontend content during the development process.

    Thank you guys for the response. About the wishlist, even adding the shortcode, it is nothing show the items on the page.

    https://nwdrones.store/lista-de-desejos/ I press the heart in product and when click in the toast link it shows empty. I thought it was cache, but after days still not working.
