In archive,producrs are not displaying seperated by selected atttributes

in archive,producrs are not displaying seperated by selected atttributes,. i have chosen color so that in archive product, i can see variable products as seperate product on the basis of colors only. but if i enable ‘variable products as seperate product’, it shows all variation product as seperated by all attributes including sizes and colors which i only want for colors. kindly help

Please note that it is possible to display all product variations as a single product across all combinations of attributes. However, you do have the option to display products by specific attribute in a way that separates variable products, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/NeJ4Q2cyPbJ1.

If you require more advanced functionality, we recommend using additional third-party plugins that offer more specific settings. The options provided within our theme are designed to support basic functionality, and for more complex requirements, external plugins would be a suitable solution.

I have selected color as primary attribute so that i can see only color as base of seperation of variable products. But the issue is that its not working. Im seeing the same product twice due to two sizes on archive. I donot want that. I want it to just seperate on the basis of color, not size

In this case, you can configure the separation based on size. Please note that the primary attribute determines how the separation is applied. For example, if your product includes combinations such as Blue + Small, Large + Green, and Medium + Small, and you have set the separation by color, the system will display two products: Small, Blue and Large, Green + Small, Medium.

However, we recommend exploring an alternative solution that is more SEO-friendly, known as Linked Variations. This feature allows you to manually link different simple products and present them with functionality similar to variations. As a result, your customers can view one product and see related products as swatch options.
