  Hi,

  I have an issue with variable products:

  The default variation is not on sale,

  Another variation is on sale,

  But the theme still shows the product as “on sale” everywhere (badge, listings, spotlight, dynamic sections).

  Expected behavior:

  The product should only display the sale badge and be marked as on sale if the default variation is on sale.

  If only other variations are discounted, the product should appear as normal without the badge and without “on sale” status.

  How can we fix this?

  The current behavior you are observing is the default functionality of the sale badge. It is designed to appear on the main product when any of its variations are on sale.

  If you would prefer a more dynamic display of the sale badge, we kindly suggest submitting a feature request via our taskboard: https://www.8theme.com/roadmap/. Alternatively, you may request additional customization through your account at: https://www.8theme.com/account/.

  Please note that our theme does not include the dynamic sale badge functionality you described. You may refer to our demos here: https://xstore.8theme.com/ for confirmation.
