How can i filter blog posts by author ? - by Deborah

Hello,
When you click on the author on a post, it takes me back to the home page. I would like it to display all of the author’s posts. I looked to see if there were filters in the post galleries but I can’t find anything that filters by author. Do you know how to do this? Thanks in advance.

We would like to inform you that the author page (which displays all posts related to a specific author) is functioning correctly on our end.

To help identify the cause of the issue you are experiencing, we kindly recommend disabling all third-party plugins that are not included with the XStore theme. You can find a list of the officially supported plugins here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/. Once you have done this, please clear your browser cache and check the page again. It is possible that a third-party plugin may be interfering with the functionality.

If the issue persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme, especially if you are currently using a Child theme. After switching, please clear your cache and test the page once more.

Please let us know the results of these tests so we can further assist you.

Hello,
I don’t think it’s a plugin that does this because when I click on an author’s name, it gives a 404 error in the console. I’d like to know how this works. When you click on the author’s name, does a filter apply to the page, or does a new page open? Because if it doesn’t find a new page, it may have been deleted.

We have now enabled the relevant setting, and the Author Archive Page is functioning correctly.
