    Hi,

The main page of my website will not load and is displaying the error, “There has been a critical error on this website.” I contacted my domain host to see if it was an issue on their end. They said the error logs point to the plugin Elementor as the cause of the issue. The other pages on my website are working– it is only the main page that is affected. Because of this, I believe there must be a conflict with the theme and Elementor working together on my main page.

Could you look into my website and see if there is anything you can fix on your end? Thank you for your help.

    Anna

    Hello,

    Please provide temporary FTP access.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello @whym,

Thank you for providing FTP access. However, the credentials granted access to an incorrect directory. As a result, we utilized an alternative method to investigate the source of the error logs.

Please find the relevant details attached in the private content section. Our investigation indicates that the issues originate from the Jetpack and Jetpack Boost plugins. To restore site functionality, we have temporarily disabled these plugins, and the website is now loading correctly. You are welcome to verify this on your end.

As the issue is not related to our theme, we kindly recommend reaching out to the respective plugin support teams for further assistance in resolving the matter.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

Thank you for finding the issue and taking care of it, even though it was outside the theme issue. I really appreciate it. Your support is the best!
