    Hello
    issue number 1:
    I visit the shop page and i see categories at the top, when i click on one categories it just filters out the products on this categories but it doesn’t take me to show sub categories of this specific category, (as circles at the top) please see image 1 and what i want is when i click on a category it shows the sub categories of it at the top like image 2 (i was able to reach image 2 by clicking on a product and then choosing from the breadcrumbs https://mkkitchens.com/product-category/cooking-line/

    issue number 2:
    on the shop page also if i click on a category i see the products of this category, but when i click on another category in the same page it shows the products of both categories not just the recent one i click on.
    see image 3 it shows cooking line and juice makers together instead of just juice makers (the one i clicked after cooking clicking cooking line)

    Dear @Mk,

    1. The “Filter by Categories” widget operates in AND query mode by default. This means that when you select a category and then click on another one, the filter will add the new category to the URL for redirection, rather than replacing the previous selection.

    If you require a different filtering behavior, we recommend using the default WooCommerce Product Categories widget, which may better suit your needs.

    Alternatively, if you would like to prevent users from selecting an additional category when one is already selected, you may use the following custom CSS snippet:

    .etheme_widget_cats_filter:has(.current-item) li:not(.current-item) a {
        pointer-events: none;
    }
    .etheme_widget_cats_filter:has(.current-item) li:not(.current-item, .etheme_sidebar-widget-list-expand):hover {
        cursor: not-allowed;
    }

    For guidance on where to place custom CSS, please refer to the following documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/

    If you wish to disable multiple categories filters for the Spotlight Categories widget, please refer to the solution provided in this post:

    Hello,

    Could you please provide a link to the shop page of the coffee website you are referencing as an example of the desired behavior?

    To remove the “Shop” from the breadcrumbs, please add the following code to your child-theme/functions.php:
    add_filter( 'etheme_breadcrumbs_shop_step', '__return_false', 999);

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team

    Dear @Mk,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    Kindly check the private area for further details. The duplication of the “Shop” item in your breadcrumbs appears to be related to your permalink settings. Specifically, it occurs when the “shop” portion of the URL is manually defined. WooCommerce recognizes this as a distinct step in the breadcrumb trail, which results in the duplication.

    Should you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
