    Hi Team,

Currently, my My Account page (https://barefootnature.store/my-account/) is linked to a shortcode, which means I can’t directly edit its content using Elementor or other tools. I’d like to know if there’s a way to customize this page beyond the shortcode setup. Additionally, I can’t find subpages like “Lost Password” or “Account Registration” in “Pages” section for editing. Are these subpages dynamically generated by WooCommerce, or does the XStore theme provide specific templates for them?

Also, I’d like to edit the font and style of the sidebar menu (photo attached). Could you please guide me on how to make these changes?

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you!

    Best
    Carina

    Dear @carinachan2000,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, you can create the “My Account” page using XStore widgets, as described in the following tutorial:
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-my-account-page-builder-with-elementor/.

Please note that we do not provide a dedicated widget for login, registration, or password recovery. These sections are automatically displayed by WooCommerce when a user is not logged in or customly redirected to.

Additionally, since you are using the “XStore Header Builder” with Elementor, you can modify the typography of mobile menu elements in the following settings:
    https://prnt.sc/AV8iVUvZauYJ.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,

    Dear team,

    Thank you for your response.

I’ve accessed the My Account Page Builder through XStore Builders, but I’m finding the customization options a bit limited for my requirements. Could you let me know if there’s a default pre-built template for the My Account page that I can use as a starting point? I’m looking to customize the layout and tabs, such as renaming or adding additional sections, while aligning the design with my store’s branding. I understand that WooCommerce automatically handles the login, registration, and password recovery sections and that there isn’t a dedicated widget for these. However, I’d like to know how I can at least create and effectively link these subpages together.

For example, how can I ensure that users are redirected to the correct pages (e.g., login, registration, or password recovery) when interacting with the My Account page?

Additionally, is there a recommended approach to customize or style these sections to align with my store’s branding while ensuring consistency with the rest of the page? I’m not very experienced with web design, so any ready-to-use templates that you can provide to help me get started would be greatly appreciated.

    Looking forward to your help!

    Best regards,
    Carina Chan

    Dear @carinachan2000,

    Thank you for reaching out.

At the moment, there are no pre-designed templates available for the My Account page. If you are looking to implement specific customizations across different sections of this page, we recommend using various widgets to modify the content according to your needs.

Should you require further assistance with customizations, please feel free to submit a request through our support portal at: https://www.8theme.com/account.

    Hi team,

Thank you for your previous assistance regarding My Account page customization. Based on your guidance, I understand there are no pre-built templates available. However, I would like to explore your paid customization services to achieve the following specific modifications to my My Account page (screenshot attached for reference):

1.Delete these default WooCommerce tabs (Screenshot 1 attached)
    -Wishlist
    -Downloads
    -Compare
-The “You may also like…” product recommendation section

    2.Sidebar Menu Styling
-Adjust font and styling of the remaining menu items (Dashboard, Orders, Addresses, etc.) to match my brand

    3.Registration Form Simplification (Screenshot attached)
Modify the registration form to include:
    -Email address
    -First/Last name fields
    -Password

I would appreciate your advice on the most efficient solution, whether through your paid services or recommended alternatives. Thank you.

    Best

    Dear @carinachan2000,

We hope this message finds you well.

    1. We have applied the following custom CSS to the “My Account” widget: https://prnt.sc/U2JA81Kzpmdm.
Additionally, the product carousel has been disabled using the following setting: https://prnt.sc/3SU2wlgIRt4R (WooCommerce → Settings → Account).

    2. The styling of the navigation items can be adjusted through the widget configuration, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/n7-cwnbuDi7a. We simplified the styles currently so you can check and modify the settings according to your needs.

    3. Please note that our basic support does not cover advanced customizations as per your request. If you wish to modify the registration fields, we recommend using a suitable plugin or submitting a customization request via your account dashboard at: https://www.8theme.com/account/

    Thank you for your understanding.

    2.Login Error Fix
Resolve “incorrect credentials” error despite valid inputs (occurs in both test/live environments). Although I enter the correct password for couple of times, the error still occurred.

    3.Unidentified rectangle box Cleanup
Remove unidentified rectangle box (circled in screenshot).

    4. Login Button Response Fix
Currently, the login button in ‘Log In’ page requires two clicks to respond (first click does nothing; second click either logs in or returns an error as mentioned in point 2).
Please resolve so the button triggers an immediate action on the first click.

    5. Streamline Logout Flow
When I was clicking “Logout” in the ‘Sidebar’ while logged in, the system redirects to the “My Account” page instead of logging out directly. I had to click the “logout” button once again in “My Account” page to successfully log out
Could you please modify to end the session immediately on sidebar logout click, redirecting to the login page.

Please let me know if any additional screenshots are required. Thank you so much for your team’s help!!

    Dear @carinachan2000,

We hope this message finds you well.

Kindly update your theme and the XStore Core plugin to the latest versions, as recent updates may contain fixes relevant to the issues you have reported. You can review the update history here: https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/

If you require assistance with the update process, please refer to our documentation and tutorials available at: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/

After completing the update, we recommend clearing your browser cache as well as any cache generated by caching plugins you may be using.

Additionally, we kindly ask you to test the issue using a default WordPress theme such as Storefront. If the issue persists with the default theme, it is likely unrelated to XStore, and therefore outside the scope of our theme support.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,

    Dear 8THEME Support Team,

I’m writing to report significant layout disruptions that occurred after following your recommended troubleshooting steps. After carefully updating both the XStore theme and core plugin to their latest versions and thoroughly clearing all cache systems (including SiteGround’s server cache and browser caches), my site’s typography and structure have become misaligned. The header banner now appears truncated, sidebar widgets like “Recent Posts” are displaying out of position, and font rendering has changed unexpectedly. After restoring my pre-update backup via UpdraftPlus, the layout remains broken.vPlease advise on the most efficient path to resolution.

    Hello,

Based on the screenshot you provided (the message displayed on the blue background), it appears that the core plugin required an update. We have taken the liberty of updating it for you.

    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/

Additionally, we noticed that you had previously been using a child theme, but later switched to the parent theme. Please note that these themes have different settings in the Theme Options panel. We have reactivated the child theme for you, and as a result, the sidebar you mentioned has now disappeared.

Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Dear Team,

Thank you for your help so far! After the updates, some pages (Men’s, Women’s, Contact, Account) are working again, but one key issue remain:

About Us Page – The layout has been changed, the sidebar with “recent post” and “recent comment” is still visible.

Could you please check if there are missing settings? Thanks so much for your assistance once again!

    Dear @carinachan2000,

We hope this message finds you well.

We have reviewed the issue and would like to inform you that the layout appears correctly when logged in, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/RZa5tO_qU6nm.

Additionally, we noticed that your website is utilizing a CDN service (Cloudflare). Since you have recently updated your theme and plugins, we kindly recommend clearing the CDN cache to ensure that all changes are properly reflected.

Please proceed with clearing the cache and check the layout again afterward.

Should you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
