    Hi,

Checkout process is resulting in error. I have added a screenshot. Says billing email is a required field when you just try to use the normal theme checkout buttons, but the field is not there. Also when only Amazon Pay is enabled and all other gateways are shut off, it just continues to buffer when attempting to finalize checkout. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Warm Regards,

    Kingsley

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please test if the same issue occurs when using a default theme, such as Storefront? (Appearance > Themes).
If the behavior continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself. In this case, we would recommend you contact support of woocommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Best Regards,

    Hello, Kingsley,

1/ As we can see you need to update the theme and plugins – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/

2/ After that, we kindly request that you record a video demonstrating the issue and the steps leading to it. This will help us better understand and replicate the problem on our end.
Upload the video on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with the URL.

3/ Please note that we do not guarantee full compatibility of our theme with all third-party plugins, nor can we provide support for such plugins. In some cases, additional customization of either the theme or the plugin may be required to ensure they work together. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for the theme author to ensure compatibility with all existing plugins, and such customization falls outside the scope of our standard support.
We would recommend you contact support of the mentioned plugin.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Dear @Kingsley,

We hope you are doing well.

We would like to follow up as we have not yet received your feedback regarding testing with the Storefront default theme. Without this information, it is difficult for us to determine whether the issue is specific to our theme.

Additionally, we noticed that you have the “Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce” plugin activated, and most of the fields appear to be deactivated in its settings (https://prnt.sc/vWqPtm0RZhZp). This could potentially be the cause of the error on your checkout page.

Could you kindly try deactivating this plugin and then test again? Furthermore, we recommend conducting a test with only the required plugins activated, without any custom-installed ones, to help identify the root cause of the issue.

Please let us know the results at your earliest convenience. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

    Hi Jack,

Thank you for the reply. I’m not at the office and unable to do much from my phone. It does appear that the issue is with the email field. It seems to have just disappeared.

I’ve attached a link to the other eror thst is seen from mobile. Also WooPay button does nothing. Woopay is newly setup.

GoDaddy Payments was the other Gateway. Site is hosted through GoDaddy managed wordpress. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Dear @Kingsley,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Since you have manually installed and configured this plugin according to your specific requirements, we kindly recommend reviewing its configuration with your development team. Once you disable the plugin we previously mentioned, please check whether the issue persists.

If you are considering changing your hosting provider, you may explore the next option from our partners here: https://prnt.sc/TuCzHwljw6Sl.

    Hi,

Just want to report that I have had some successful orders since the start of this issue so I think its now been resolved. I did have someone with an issue paying today that stated she was unable to checkout until she made the shipping address the same as the billing address. Could this be a setting within Woopayments. Thanks.

    Regards,

    Kingsley
