Bug in shop sidebar product categories and product clicks on mobile

    Hi guys

    I have noticed some bugs on my website in shop sidebar with product categories and also with product clicks on mobile phone. I will copy paste the links to screen recordings.

    1) When i choose one category>subcategory, and then try to open toggle of another category then it opens and closes really quickly but must normally open and stay open.
    Look at video in private content area. this happens only on desktop, not on mobile.

    2) Together in previous topic we have changed the click on product to open quick view instead of going to single product page. Now when on mobile, i click on product image, it opens quick view (all ok here) but then i click on empty space left side to close quick view and here opens another product quick view or search for products button (wherever you click) but it must just close the quick view and not open anything.
    On desktop works ok (mobile view) , but on mobile this bug happens.
    Also i have this button to open mobile menu, if its on top of product image and you click on this button then mobile menu opens and also quick view of the product.

    3) on desktop when i open category , then subcategory and then sub sub category, then these are shown in black, but all the rest i have set to show in grey. can you advise what css code to add? i have already one css code to show them in grey but apparently not for subsubcategories

    Hello,

    1) Video displays QV issue, not the categories issue. Please, provide the correct video for better understanding.

    2) We have improved the code snippet that you used to make QV open by click on the product image. By the way, this is an additional customization service that is outside the scope of our support. We made an exclusion this time but if you have more questions about additional customization then submit an additional customization request to customization team.

    Hi

    Thank you for your assistance!
    However see remarks below,
    links to videos for both points in private area

    1)
    as you see in the video, when clicking on category then it opens and closes quickly but must remain open normally

    2)
    I notice that when i click on menu button with the hand symbol, then the click on product with quick view is disabled > this is what you have added to the code i believe? 🙂
    but other thing with when closing quick view (clicking on space outside quick view window – when on product on background then quick view of this product opens, and when on background “search products” then keyboard opens. When actually quick view must just close when tapping outside quick view window.

    Hi Olga

    1) private area
    2) it only happens on mobile, not on desktop. even if you will simulate mobile view on desktop you will not encounter issues. to replicate this bug you should go on mobile device (i have iphone) and check this.

    Hello,

    1) Thanks. I passed the issue to developers.
    2) Even if I test using a real device it works ok https://dropmefiles.com/dwLGN
    Try to check using another device or from incognito mode. Maybe it’s a mobile browser cache.

    Hi Olga

    Thank you for checking this for me.
    I noticed on iphone 10 and iphone 12 i have still this issue that is opening quick view products (basically all the clicks that are on background of quick view window), however on iphone 6 and huawei this does not happen, but when clicking on a product category then products of this category do not load.. its so frustrating .. (cleared cashes, incognito windows, etc.. all done)

    Regarding CDN Cloudflare yes i believe it is enabled on my hosting. is there a problem with it perhaps?

    I have just turned off cloudflare but nothing much has changed.
    See video link in private area.
    You see it that it is in incognito window and both issues are happening at the same time, quick views opening and also category menu which is expanding and collapsing very fast..

    Hello,

    I asked about Cloudflare because our developers did not see their changes while tried to fix the issue. So, temporarily disable CloudFlare or install the CloudFlare plugin and log in to your account to allow our developers to clear CDN cache after their changes. Reply back one you disable or install plugin and they will proceed. Once they fix the problem they will tell you which files to need to upload for the other installation you have to fix the issue.

    Check now, please.
    Changes were made in files:
    \xstore\js\ajax-filters.min.js
    \xstore\js\modules\productCategoriesWidget.min.js
    Upload them to another site you have to fix the issue. Also, fix will be included in the next theme update.

    hi guys,
    was a bit off sorry!
    now today worked again on websites and still cannot figure out whats happening with the clicks on products,
    i have disabled wishlist plugin so he is out of the way, but when clicking on mobile iphone, the click is activated what is on background of quick view window (closing quick view causes opening others unnecessary clicks)
    you can see all in the videos i have shared with you

    please help me to solve this issue, just because of this i dont want to start promoting it unfortunately

    Unfortunately, additional customization is outside the scope of our basic support. The theme support team can help you only with existing options.
    Our developers made an exclusion and helped with custom code previously, but they are busy now, and we can’t be responsible for custom changes.
    So your question should be addressed to professionals of customization service, for example WPKraken team.

    Actually, i have now disabled the codes your team has made, but this issue is still there.
    if you click on quick view and then try to close quick view by clicking outside quick view window, you automatically are clicking on website whatever you are clicking under quick view window..
    can you please check this?

    guys,
    there is something that is not going well with it
    as i said i have disabled these two code snippets which were added, now it still has this issue
    for example if you click on a product quick view opens and when you close it it gives this issue,
    but also when you click on add product to cart button, then cart off canvas opens and when you want to close it by clicking outside the window then again you are clicking somewhere and another page is opening

    Was there somewhere else a code added besides these two snippets?
    please help me correct this because its has been already month that we are trying to fix it and still not progress, i even bought another license support because my old one expired meanwhile we do this

    Hi guys
    Any news? Waiting for three days now since last message.
    There are really different issues and i dont know how to solve them.
    it has nothing to do with this snippet which was added “Javascript for products on product page links to quick view”
    also there is issue when i add product to cart and then refresh page cart shows 0 products, then if i add second product it shows 2 products, then refresh again and 0 products.
    please see videos in private area
    all logins and passes are shared in previous messages
    please check this asap, i have feeling i’m being ignored while i have already bought around 4-5 licenses ..

    Cleared, nothing is changed. same issue with the cart and again the clicks outside quick view window…. cleared all, checked on different phones..
    Could you please tell me what exactly you are doing to fix it?
    How come I dont see any changes?

    Hello,

    We have tried different ways to prevent click on iphone but as you know that operation system work a bit different then android so if on android it is ok to use ‘click’ event then on iphone in safari especially it works like 2 touch click so we are really trying to figure out how it should fix but sometimes we found fix but at the same moment another issue is coming. We tried on our device and maybe because of too much times loading the page and cached in phone it is ok now that’s why we wrote you to check from your side.
    We will try to fix it but understand us too, we have different questions from users and it is not possible to use all time to fix only one bug and forget about other questions from our clients.

    I really do understand you have constant flow of questions from customers, but as you see from my previous topic (is from June 17th, already more than 2 months) and this topic is from two weeks already. I would appreciate if you could mark it as urgent.

    Hello

    We do understand the problem you have on iphone and we added this task to our backlog to fix it after others with higher priority. Just for knowing – this issue requires full recoding of off-canvas elements work so it needs some time to make it work another way than one we have now.
    We will try to recode that and then we should check it from both sides and also we will write you to check it as well.
    Many sorry that we cannot make it asap for you. All we can recommend you to do is to compare your sites and try to find why it is ok on myh* but not ok on sm* as you wrote before. If you have any ideas please, sharing with us will be MUCH appreciated !
    Also you may temporary enable non-canvas type of sidebar for mobile just to prevent such bug.
