My site just completely crashed. It seams that it kicked out the child theme and reverted to the standard WordPress theme. All the changes i made are reverted back to some version of the imported store.
I just deactivated some of the other themes, i’m still ad a loss.
I’m still not sure what happened.
I will de-install the plugin and theme and start all over again. Ill keep this ticket open. It happened before, it will crash again.
Hello,
Take our apologies for the delay in answering, we have a lot of requests these days.
Do you have a backup of your site before the crash? Could you, please, restore it and then provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access? We’ll help you with theme update if theme update caused the issue.
Regards
Good day,
No worries about the delay, I can see that you are busy. I haven’t started over at the moment. Since it is a multi site, i have some other parts that need my attention aswell.
So i did the update as by following your tutorial step by step. It worked like a charm.
When i filled out the shipping methods using the Flexible Shipping plugin (free shipping from 50,-) i noticed that it didn’t calculate right. I tried it in the other sites and there it worked. But the site using the Xstore theme it didn’t work. It was “stuck” in this part.
€1.940,01
Refreshed the page and all was garbled. If i go to XStore -> Theme Options I have the option to “Restore the recent copy”. But this will blanc the screen.
In the Private content area you can find the credentials for FTP and WP Dash
Hello,
Oh, thank you for your understanding.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the option to restore the settings you changed. I could just import the default demo options.
Do you still have a problem with the shipping?
Regards
If you would be so kind to import the default options. Then yes please.
(I actually had the exact same problem with the site some weeks ago. That was before the big update. I imported the demo option aswell. But that only made it worse. Or.. it gave me 2 headers.)
Right now i’m not working on this part of the site (it’s a multi site) and overall the shipping works fine.
I’m just wondering what is happening. And if i have to delete XStore all together, if i deactivate the plugin.. it still remains in the menu.
So please restore to the demo store and let’s see what happens.
Hello,
Check now. You may edit the content and options according to your needs.
2 headers issue after theme update could be related to some misprint in the custom CSS. If you still have this issue on any WP installation provide us with the access and we’ll check.
And if i have to delete XStore all together, if i deactivate the plugin.. it still remains in the menu.
Do you mean that you remove XStore core plugin and XStore theme but still have it in the menu? Provide us with the screenshot, please, because the problem is not clear for me.
Regards
It is brilliant. I didn’t make that many changes to the template. But you’ve (almost) restored it to where I was. What did you do to get it back?
Unfortunatly the problem with the flexible shipping plugin remains. There is something terrible buggy going on between Xstore and the flexible shipping plugin.
Hello,
I just imported theme options of the Niche market demo and changed colors according to your site style.
Are you talking about this notification https://prnt.sc/1ibhjt4 or about shipping calculation on the checkout page?
Regards
Yes, that is exactly it. Because in “verzendzones > Nederland > dpd I have set the “free shipping” to 50. Although I just made it 50,00 and now the “spend X amount for free shipping has disappeared.
Hello,
Go to XStore > Sale booster > Progress bar https://www.8theme.com/documentation/docs/sales-booster/
