The message shows: “Plugin installation failed” when installing the Premium plugin from Plugins Installer.
Hello,
What plugin did you try to install? Try manual installation from Plugins > Add new > upload and use archives from the Downloads page https://www.8theme.com/downloads
Regards
Hi, non of the premium plugins can be installed through Plugins Installer, which keeps showing “Plugin installation failed”, I have installed the plugin manually, and when it shows a new version available, and i click update after reflash page will find its not been updated.
for example, the WooCommerce PDF Invoice, after manually installed, I am unable to update it and shows: “There is a new version of WooCommerce PDF Invoice available. View version 3.2.1 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. You must enter your Purchase Code here to enable automatic updates. Where do I find my Purchase Code?”
Hello,
As a rule, if you have “Plugin installation failed” error it means that server permissions do not allow autoinstallation and manual installation required. Also, you will need to manually update plugins. You can either upload the updated version via FTP or remove the plugin and install the new version archive from Plugins > Add new > upload plugin.
