Customization page does’t load - by Raq320

    When I click customize the page is loading endlessly

    Hello,

    1) Try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that do not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ , clear cache of browser, and check how it works then.
    2) Do you have any errors in the browser console? Contact your hosting provider and ask error log.

    What about the server error log?
    Provide URL, temporary wp-admin, and FTP access also.

    Was the log provided by your hosting provider? We need exactly the server error log.

    Sorry it is SFTP not FTP, can it be?
    It is digitalocean linux server, you mean web server logs?

    Hello,

    Still can’t connect using FileZilla, even with SFTP. Please try by yourself using the credentials you provided.
    I am not sure why you can’t find the error_log file ( I did not work with digitalocean linux server, unfortunately). Maybe their support can help you?

    I tried and everything works perfect, I will create another account in a minute. About server I meant that there is no console or something. I can send You for example apache web server logs or php logs

    Hello,

    You have updated the XStore core plugin but did not update the theme to the latest version. That was the reason of the issue.
    If you want to update XStore core plugin then update not just a plugin but also theme.

    P.S. You renamed the parent theme folder, so theme auto-update won’t work for you. Use FTP method to update theme in this case.

    Hello,

    Extract new theme archive in wp-content/themes folder. Then remove your old parent theme and rename extracted xstore folder to your theme name. It won’t reset your site. Of course do the backup of your site before the update.
