I have now purchased 6 licences in the last few months. I really like and I hope to buy many more. I’m still learnigng so sorry for my sometimes stupid questions. Hers’s one again: I’m from Slovenia and every time I set up a new store for a client I spend a lot of time translating many strings to my languages. Always the same strings. Is it possible to speed up this process? To have one file maybe somewhere which would have these translations stored so whan install xStore I would allready get all the translations?
Hello,
Thank you for using our theme!
We have a partial translation for the Slovak only https://www.8theme.com/topic/%f0%9f%87%b8%f0%9f%87%b0-slovak-slovencina-sk_sk/#post-235583
But if you translated theme and core plugin on one site you can use these files for all your sites. Just copy translations to wp-content/languages /themes and wp-content/languages/plugins folders and sync translations after that https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/103-translation-files-update
Also, we would be very grateful if you could share your translation with us after that https://gyazo.com/371184b8cd0ba5d56fa07717e9f2a42a

Thanx, but this is not tha same language. I’m from Slovenia not Slovakia. Can I make my own partial translation files? How do I name them?
Hello,
Follow the documentation https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation
You need to install the Loco translate plugin and then follow the mentioned steps.

thanx, that’s what I’m doing now. I’d like to have Slovenian translationf files like the ones on your github. I’ll translate them myself, I used to be a Microsoft translator.
Hello,
Ok. Feel free to ask if you face any issues with the translation once you finish.

how do I name them?
Hello,
According to your language locale sl_SI
xstore-sl_SI.po, xstore-core-sl_SI.po
Loco translate plugin will name them once you choose your language from the list https://gyazo.com/cf7d03911c00f8a7ecce6837ceac3dd9

what if I’m using WPML?
Hello,
If you want to be able to copy translations to other sites and avoid translation of the same hardcoded strings again and again then you need to create the mentioned files. You can do this using Loco translate or translate strings using WPML string translator and then just export translation files https://gyazo.com/5f95ae4a7e30c27dffd338374701d9b5 and you’ll be able to import these file to another site.
