Sidebar banner widgets link to products categories widget

hi guys,
sorry I’m bothering you a lot lately..
have added two banners in the sidebar and added links for product categories
https://URL/?product_cat=category1
when i click on banner it loads a page (not homepage) instead of working as filter for product categories, how can I set links so that it works as categories filter?

also i dont know why but breadcrumbs are now showing when I click on category, but not on homepage (shop page)

Hello,

We don’t have the filter by category in our theme. WooCommerce plugin also does not have the filter by category, only product categories list widget with links to categories.

You can control breadcrumbs under Theme Options > Breadcrumbs > Breadcrumbs style.

thanks Olga,
I will try to find smth for that
but, four things happening

1) those breadcrumbs are driving me crazy, sometimes they do appear sometimes they dont, so i have disabled them in theme options, but now i have no space between bottom header and shop page, see printscreen, can you help add it?
2) how come when I click on category refresh page then my homepage (shop) is turned off?
because then brands logo bar is removed
3) for two categories: bulk and promo , brands filter is not showing (printscreens added)
Is there an option to keep all brands visible at all times even if there are no products for these brands for a particular category?
4) this brand filter and categories do not work now, I’m sending you a screen recording to show how they behave, when i switch/add/remove brand then category is deleted as well , etc…

Hello,

1) Add the margin bottom for the bottom section of the header if you disable breadcrumbs and need to add the space https://prnt.sc/zybodo

2) Brands that you added is the shop page banner, it’s not the product category banner. If you click the product category from the shop page you get the product category content with Ajax and without reloading of the shop page, that’s why you see the banner. But if you visit the product category page directly you see the category page content only.
So, to have those brands for product categories you can add the static block shortcode to category description, for example https://prnt.sc/zycgn1

3) No, this filter widget displays only brands available for the category. If the product category does not have products with these brands they do not display.

4) Ajax products filter https://prnt.sc/zye9l7 is not compatible with Plain type of permalinks. So, either disable Ajax product filter or change permalinks type to Post name.
