    Hi,

is there a reason why uploaded fonts in the theme end up in a path such as: “domain.com/public_html/wp-content//uploads/custom-fonts/2020/05/” instead of domain.com/wp-content/webfonts/ ?

    I’m asking, because
    1) It makes for horrible file management
    2) I would like the # of characters in my stylesheets as low possible.

    Hello,

    1) We use that folder to make fonts loading for both default WP and WordPress network (multi-sites), for example,
    domain.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/site1/custom-fonts/2020/05/
    domain.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/site2/custom-fonts/2020/05/

    2) Are you talking about using id selectors in the styles?

    Regards
