It takes anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds to load the SHOP page every time. I have tried every possible caching plugin and even just purchased a massive VPS to host the site on. Nothing changes the incredibly slow loading unless I change themes, in which case it’s nearly instant load.

Now, for the weirdest part… In the XStore settings, under:

WooCommerce (Shop) < Shop < Product Style ... there is an option at the top for "Product Content Effect". If I change that to "INFORMATION MASK", the SHOP page loads blazingly fast (less than 2 seconds). However, it places the title and price in an extremely ugly black box that covers part of the image, so I cannot realistically use that setting. If I use ANY other setting (including DISABLE) for that setting, it goes back to 15-30 second load time every time. Is there any way I can get that same speed increase when that setting is set to any of the other options, including simply "DISABLE"?

    Hello,

    Thanks for using our theme.
Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can take a closer look.
Create an account via Dashboard (Users > Add new) with administrator role http://prntscr.com/s3rc9m > provide us with username and password via the Private Content area http://prntscr.com/s5mao7 You can use any email for it.
If you do not know how to create FTP contact with your hosting provider, they will help you.

    Regards

I can plainly see that the reason for the massive speed improvement when using the “Information Mask” setting is due to the fact that the variation options are not automatically forced to be loaded on each product when viewing the grid SHOP layout. You should not need to get into the backend of my site for that.

I really just need to know how to disable the automatic forced loading of all variations on each product displayed on the shop page (and in any grid view, because the “Featured Products” module in the builder has the exact same speed issue and also forced the loading of all variations in the grid view).

The variations should really only load when viewing the single product page.

Using CSS to “hide” the variations does nothing for the speed, as the variations are all still loaded.

    Any ideas on this?

Go to Theme Options > WooCommerce (Shop) > Shop elements > Variation swatches > Swatch Position > Disable. Clear cache and check then.
If this doesn’t give the desired result, provide temporary access, so I can pass this question to our technicians team.
    Waiting for your reply.

    Hello,

Go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop Elements > Variation Swatches > disable variation swatches for grid http://prntscr.com/uryxze .

Thank you! I misread that option to enable or disable the swatches on the individual product page. It worked perfectly and everything is extremely fast with it disabled.
