XStore old header migrate to Header Builder

Need instruction how to migrate header after XStore upgrade from 5 to 6.
Simply updating everything can’t make new header(Header Builder) visible. Old header elements does not appear in Header Builder. Old one have to be killed somehow or imported into Builder?

Hello,

Once Header builder is enabled you need to builder the header structure for desktop and mobile from scratch (here are some video tutorials – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbdKjQrFnO4&list=PLMqMSqDgPNmDu3kYqh-SAsfUqutW3ohlG ) or import one of demo templates (Theme Options > Header builder > Header templates > Ready To Go Headers) and change it depends on your needs.

There is some mess with my header on this particular site.
Switching on the Header Builder for very first time, the header on preview pane must be empty. But it’s not – there are old menu elements and i can’t find a way to remove them.

Hello,

Try to disable all third-party plugins that do not come bundled with our theme https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins , and check how it works then.
Do you have the same problem when parent theme is activated?
Let us know and provide temporary FTP access, so we can take a closer look.

Of course, version 6 header.php is completely different compare to ver.5.
Child theme header.php updated and all good.
Case closed.
