  Hello,
  In the search field, on the left hand side there is a drop-down selection containing a list of all the categories, including all sub-categories and sub-sub-categories.
  I would like to only show parent categories as the list is too huge for this dropdown menu.

  How do I do this please?

  Hello,

  By default, there is no such possibility. Categories can be disabled at all via Theme Options > Header builder > Search.
