Search result page no sidebar – versio 6.2

Hi Support Team!

We have a strange issue. On the newest update of Xstore(6.2) the sidebar on the search result page is not displaying anymore. We had to revert to version 6.1.2(this was the version used before we updated to 6.2).

Is this a general issue or it is singular on our site?

We do not face this problem on our test site.
To be able to help, we need access to site where the problem is visible.

You can create a staging site (full copy of the existing one) and do updates of the theme and plugins there first. If everything is ok then you’ll be able to update the production site.

Also, I would recommend you to activate Header builder via Theme options and create the desired header for desktop and mobile from scratch depends on your needs. Here you can find video tutorials – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbdKjQrFnO4&list=PLMqMSqDgPNmDu3kYqh-SAsfUqutW3ohlG
Search results page inherit sidebar position from shop page, but in search settings of the header builder, you will be able to change “Sidebar Position” http://prntscr.com/puo6g9

Hello,

I was able to recreate the problem with the sidebar position, when the header builder is disabled, on my test site. Our developers will get a report about this situation.
Meanwhile, mentioned settings for sidebar position, when the header builder is enabled, work fine http://prntscr.com/pupq6v
