Hi,

I have gone to the ‘categories’ underneath my ‘products’ tab so that I can re-order the way I want them to be displayed on my website. The order is correct in the dashboard, however, when I click to view the page live on my website – it isn’t acknowledging the order that I have specified.

Could you please help me identify the issue so that I can display my products in the order I want?

Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product catalog > Default product sorting.

Hi,

I have gone into these settings but I’m afraid I can’t see an option that will help me to display the specified order I made when going into Products –> Categories and then re-arranging the items (by clicking/holding and dragging).

Is there a certain setting I should be using?

Hello,

As I can see, your shop page shows products, not categories. Do you want to show categories on the Shop page with the desired order? Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product catalog > http://prntscr.com/osxkmo
If this is not what you are looking for, provide some screenshots for better understanding.

Hi,

My page URL is https://www.chillizone.com.au/product-category/buy-bean-bags/

I then re-order the products by doing the following https://prnt.sc/ot9xn8 but it doesn’t work for this page.

Is there a way that I can re-order the products on this page?

Hello,

You provided screenshot with the order of the categories https://prnt.sc/ot9xn8 , not the products! Products order you can set in the Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product catalog > http://prntscr.com/oteczm

Or maybe you are talking about the order of the list of product categories for the categories widget http://prntscr.com/oteewr ?
Then go to Appearance > Widgets > Shop filters area > choose the category order http://prntscr.com/oteflw

Sorry to be confusing but this might make more sense.

On this page https://www.chillizone.com.au/product-category/event-furniture-hire/ I have used this method to re-arrange my items and it works https://prnt.sc/oudtj3

However, when I go to this page https://www.chillizone.com.au/product-category/buy-bean-bags/ and try to edit doing the same thing https://prnt.sc/ot9xn8 – it doesn’t work.

I am not sure why it works for one page and not another?

I have a feeling that you don’t understand what exactly you are trying to sort on that page.
I don’t see categories at this page https://www.chillizone.com.au/product-category/buy-bean-bags/ I see products only http://prntscr.com/oukp2m

You can’t manage the products http://prntscr.com/oukp2m if you change the order of the categories https://prnt.sc/ot9xn8 ?

Products order you can set in the Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product catalog > http://prntscr.com/oteczm
