    Hi,

    Over the past month, I have received almost 400 error messages on my e-mail stating that a registration failed. I think this is spam and I would like it to stop.

    Hello,

    What version of parent theme do you use? The latest version of Royal theme includes reCaptcha for the user registration. If you use the previous version we would recommend you to update theme and check if it helps. Of course, update the staging site first and only if everything is ok then update the production site.

    Hello,

    I have updated theme. Now enable reCaptcha http://prntscr.com/nzvnni and clear CDN cache.

    Thank you for the update. Everything was fine until I added the ReCaptcha code! My whole website is distorted now. This is very unfortunate. What do I do?

    Luckily I made a backup before hand.

    Hello,

    Before we replied you back everything was ok, only captcha keys were missing. Logo and menu were ok.
    Now we don’t see any site following your link. Have you completely removed the store?
    What should we check if you removed the whole site?

    Hi, thank you for your fast reply. No, I had the backup placed on the website around 10 A.M. My apologies for the miscommunication.

    Could you please try to add the Captcha keys and see whether something goes wrong for you too?

    Hello,

    I have added the keys and saved settings and don’t see the problem with the site.
    Could you, please, clear the CDN cache and also tell me did you create reCaptcha v2 or v3? Because or theme support v2 only and won’t work with the v3 keys.

    Hello,

    Try to install and change the default WP login page using WPS Hide Login plugin. I suppose that problem could be related to default WP registration, not with the custom one. Changes of the default login page helped for a few users to prevent spam registrations. Let me know if it helps to you.
