Can't upload theme - by adriandilg - on WordPress WooCommerce support

I am trying to upload the xstore theme and it wont upload because it is to big. I host through godaddy and they led me to this http://www.deadlykittens.com/wp-admin/ and here is were I am trying to upload the theme.

Hello,

What archive are you trying to upload? Theme archive is 5MB only. Maybe you are trying to upload the full package that includes WP theme, documentation, translations files, child theme instead of the WordPress theme only. Please, watch the video tutorial on how to install the theme https://youtu.be/Eq16hs-1PUs

Thats exactly what I did except it is XStore_Theme_v.5.0.3.zip and it is 5.1MB

Hello,

Default WP limit is 8Mb, you should be able to upload theme via Appearance > Themes > Upload. What upload_max_filesize do you have?
If your hosting does not allow to upload 5Mb via Dashboard then use FTP method to install the theme.
But take a look at theme requirements https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/60-xstore-theme-requirements and make sure that your server meets these requirements to avoid problems in future.

I checked, It allows up to 5MB but the theme is 5.1 not 5MB. I called godaddy to get help uploading through FTP but they could not tell me which file folder to upload the theme to. How do I find the correct file to put the theme in if I use FTP?

Hello,

You need to download theme archive, extract it, you will get xstore folder. Upload this folder into wp-content/themes folder. Go to Appearance > Themes > activate XStore theme.
