My permalink setup is configured as “https://domainname.com/index.php/shop/” but when I apply price filter it goes to “https://domainname.com/shop/?min_price=1&max_price=694” which generates an 404 error “The requested document was not found on this server.”.
If I manually include “index.php” in the URL it works.
ex: “https://domainname.com/index.php/shop/?min_price=1&max_price=694”
So I tried to tweak permalinks by including index.php and was editing “Product permalinks” accidentally from “product/” to “index.php/product/” and now it appends “/” ie:”/product/” instead of “product/” in front even I did not put it so product pages are now broken.
Product URLs are now like “https://domainname.com/index.php//product/beanie/” which has additional “/” after index.php which I cannot get rid of by changing the settings.
In summary,
1. Price filter does not work because missing “index.php” in the URL
2. Products does not load (404) because of additional “/” after index.php which automatically append when I save “Product permalinks” as “product/” (default value) but it changes to “/product/” when saving
