Blurry Image's thumbnails - by Yuri Werneck

    Hi there 8 Theme! It is a pretty nice theme, no doubts. I have only one difficulty regarding the images. I’m customyzing the theme and I’ve uploaded several product images in two different moments (with the same size and resolution). At the midia library, all the images are correct.

    However, the last batches are becoming blurry at Home and Product’s page. When I click over the quick view, the image apears accordingly. When I turn back to the first page, it shows a blurry image. After this, If I refresh the page (CTRL F5) the image shows up accordingly with no blurs.

    Any help is welcome!

    Hello, @Yuri Werneck,

    1) Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Image Size and set correct image size for the catalog images. This post will help you to find out what size is ok for you https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/

    2) After that install and activate Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and regenerate all the thumbnails (Tools > Regenerate thumbnails > All)

    3) Add the following code in Theme Options > Styling > Custom CSS

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1200px){
    .content-product .product-content-image img {
        min-width: 1px;
        width: auto;
    }}

    Hello,
    Sorry, but this is how WP generates thumbnails for your images http://chacaraber.dominiotemporario.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/acelga-chacarabertolin-2-264×345.jpg
    Our theme does not affect it.

    Before there was styles to make image 100% width that’s why it was very blurred but I removed this style, see before http://prntscr.com/fsvukp and now http://prntscr.com/fsvtgj , http://prntscr.com/fsvuc5

    Perhaps the problem is the WP.

    What happens is that couple days ago, I inserted very good images, with 655×856 x 72 DPIs. And they where fantastic at all the thumbnails.

    After this, some days later, I inserted the current images whit the same 655×856 x 72 DPIs, and they are like already mentioned (blurry)

    If there is no solution, I going to reinstal the WP.

    Hello,

    I’m not sure that WordPress re-installation will solve the problem.
    We can help you only in case problem persists with our theme only, but if the image is blurred by default even if you check the following link http://chacaraber.dominiotemporario.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/acelga-chacarabertolin-2-264×345.jpg and the same situation is even with default WooCommerce theme we can do nothing.
