Hi, I am having difficulty installing and configuring the theme on my website. I am probably making a mistake and I wanted to ask if someone can take care of the installation. Thanks

When we visited your website, we did not find the XStore theme installed. Therefore, we temporarily disabled third-party plugins, installed the latest version of the theme, and then reactivated the plugins.

If you have previously used our theme, please check for your backup, as the default settings are currently applied and may not be fully suitable for the existing content on your website.

The user account that you created for us no longer has access to the admin panel, so we are unable to edit the settings on your behalf. Please grant administrator rights or follow our recommendations below.

It seems that your site was originally built using a different theme, so it is normal that some settings differ after activating our theme. For example, to remove the sidebar, go to Theme Options > Blog > Blog Layout > Sidebar Only for Blog Page, and set it to “On.”

Regarding the header and logo, please create the desired header via Theme Options > Header Builder.

Please note that the child theme does not inherit the theme options of the parent theme. If you enable the child theme, you need to import the options from the parent theme or configure them from scratch.
To do this:
1. Go to Theme Options (when the parent theme is activated) > Import/Export > download the export file.
2. Activate the child theme (Appearance > Themes).
3. Go to Theme Options > Import/Export > import your options and reload the page without saving.
4. Save the options only after reloading.
5. Check your site and continue using the child theme.

Regarding plugins, you can install new ones via XStore > Plugins Installer or download them from https://www.8theme.com/downloads . Please avoid installing unnecessary plugins. Always read the plugin description before installation, as each additional plugin may slightly slow down your site. If you are unsure whether a plugin is needed, simply deactivate it. We can also guide you on how to install a ready-made template (XStore > Import Demos). However, we can see that your site already contains content. Please note that after importing a demo version, new content will be added and mixed with your existing content — it will not be deleted. If you want to completely replace your current content with the demo content, that is also possible. To better assist you, please describe in detail what result you would like to achieve.

If you are unsure and would like to test, we recommend asking your hosting provider to create a full backup first. After that, you can safely import, delete, or add anything and then restore the site to its previous state if needed. Alternatively, you can create a separate test site to experiment freely.
