Editing of 'Featured Products', 'Popular Products' and 'Sale' Items

Hello! I am in no way an experienced developer but am familiar with the basics of managing our site from the backend and uploading products etc. I am stuck on where to edit (in the backend) the ‘Featured Products’, ‘Popular Products’ and ‘Sale’ items which are displayed on the homepage. At the moment we are getting random products in there, some of which are out of stock items and others in the sale category are not actually on sale. Help for a newbie appreciated thanks!

Hello,

You need search for Tabs element on home page backend and edit Products element inside.

Hello,

You need edit Products element inside the Tabs element via Visual Composer editor and select Product Type you want to display. To show sale products you need add sale price to your products. Hi Eva,

Thanks for that. Yes I saw that tutorial before and understand how to mark products as featured but we have many items on sale which aren’t appearing in the sales category. 1 item that appears in there isn’t even on sale. And regarding the ‘popular products’ display as well – I can’t see where to edit that.

Hello,

Make sure you selected Product Type as “Sale” in Products element settings on your page.

Hi Eva,

Thanks but I’ve had a look and can’t see ‘sale’ as an option from the dropdowns in product type within the product’s settings/product data settings. I must be missing something or perhaps our site is coded differently/custom.
