Visual Composer not working after Xstore theme update

Visual Composer stop working after last theme update I believe.

I tried re-uploading plugin’s folder (js_composer) via FTP in Xstore > theme > plugins & wp-content > plugins.

I’m using WordPress 4.6 and I checked in Eight Theme Xstore plugins link to have all updated.

I can’t work since Yesterday because many things are built in VC. Please help

Hello,
We did not face problems with Visual Composer. Could you, please, provide link to the page with problem and admin panel and FTP access to your site? Also, describe in details what problems with VC do you have?

Hi, thanks for reply. I did a backup, reinstalled wordpress and worked again. Don’t know what happened in the middle. I think was automatic updates. My instalation of WordPress went automatically to 4.6 and in a moment I saw in CodeCanyon that VC was compatible until 4.5.X. Maybe that was the problem. I had it for a few days.

By the way I wanted to ask about url links translations. When WordPress is in English every link works perfect, and when I change to Spanish all links, for example of woocommerce, are broken (404 Not Found). When I go back to English every url link works again.

Hello,

Permalinks settings you can find in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks. If you use WPML to translate site contact with their support to get detailed information about Permalinks settings that will work fine with WPML plugin.

Hi Olga, thanks for reply!

About JavaScript, can I add custom js? like the style.css file. I’m using the child theme.
Can I add a js file via FTP and overwrite custom lines of code? I’m kind of new in WordPress. How can I do that? I want to write custom JS.

I read a post about translations of the theme. I’m from Latin America. We speak and write in Spanish (Latin American). If you need some help with translation let me know how. Glad to help.

Yes, you can use custom js in child theme. Read this post https://wordpress.org/support/topic/child-theme-most-eficient-way-of-adding-javascript-to-the-headerphp/

If you can help us with translation of xstore.pot file it would be great! You can find xstore.pot in xstore/languages/ folder.

When translation will be finished just tell us here and we’ll send you our email.
