New products and feature products - by frmaninc

hi

whenever we add new products the theme does not display them as new or feature products automatically. even if we highlight the ‘star’ it choose to randomly feature products.
but it will always appear as a sale product. please advise on the proper way to manage these

You need set to display the Featured or New products.

Hello,

If you want to mark products as new you need do this manually in product editor http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0818/h_1471503160_6185764_68e053251e.png .

I am lost, where can i see the setting like in your screen shot? it is not is the theme options..please advise.

Hello,

Rose showed you Products element from Visual Composer editor.
You can add it to any page.

Yes, i seem your post. and understood it.

But for the feature products what i meant was the revolution features products Column, how to make new products as a feature one. In the home page.

To mark products as featured you need mark them with stars http://storage2.static.itmages.com/i/16/0818/h_1471539766_5696561_742fc5317b.png .
Are you talking about this section on home page http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0818/h_1471540200_1082867_4f245fd8e5.png ? If so you need edit it as Rose showed http://storage2.static.itmages.com/i/16/0818/h_1471540303_7476084_0a1a87f76a.png , edit Products element in your home page and select “Featured” as Products Type.
