Layout adjustments + adding fields - by FlashNFunky

Hi,

Hope all is well.

I have a couple layout adjustments I’ll like help with, please view the image located here: http://imgur.com/a/k6NUo

Other things:

1. I.E displays a different font to other browsers and the layout isn’t as per the other browsers is this something that can be fixed?

2. In the checkout page is it possible to add a note above the Payment selection option, example here: http://imgur.com/a/RaFWy

3. In the products page on top of where it displays Model No: is it possible to add a field called Item Code?

Apologies, I have the arrow pointing at the wrong line for number 2, it’s meant to point to please choose payment method below, as that is what we will like added in.

Please update the theme to the latest version and check the issue.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Don’t forget to make backup of the site before update.

Hi, I’ve done the update. It’s corrected a couple things but hasn’t corrected others. I’ll have a sit down with my customer soon and will send through an updated list of issues soon.

There are a lot of issues that comes from your Custom CSS code which you added in Theme Options->Custom CSS. Please check it first.

Hi Robert,

Most of the CSS inserted there was code provided by the support staff for previous adjustments. I’m not sure what i should be leaving / keeping.

Hello @FlashNFunky,

There is a lot of customization.
You’ve added two times the same code. See screenshot – http://prntscr.com/c29r9i and change margin value to your need to fix difference in browsers.

You’ve added the padding value to reduce the menu items – http://prntscr.com/c29s30 you can play with them.

For product brand add this code

.sidebar-widget .widget-title span, .sidebar-slider .widget-title span { line-height: 26px; }

The issue with ‘new and offers’ comes because you’re added this code in custom css – http://prntscr.com/c29uk5

.sidebar-widget .widget-title span, .sidebar-slider .widget-title span { font-size: 23px; }

Remove this padding for ‘new and offers’ in mobile navigation. See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/c29v0h

.widget-title span{ padding: 0 35px; }

Remove this code in custom css to fix issue with red color in mobile menu – http://prntscr.com/c29yaw

.mobile-nav .links { background-color: red; }

P.S. I think the best way to fix this bunch of issues will be to copy (backup) the CSS code (in Theme Options->Custom CSS->Global Custom CSS) and add them again as parts, not all.
