  How do you change what is showed in New and featured columns on the front page?
  it used to show new items but since update it just shows old items and the new and featured are the same items.

  and on another note ,i never get an email notification when someone replies to my thread on here so i have to keep coming back and scrolling through the forum which is quite annoying.

  Hello,

  To mark product as new you need edit it and select “Mark product as “New”” http://storage4.static.itmages.com/i/16/0731/h_1469967493_7671931_7899663f51.png .
  To mark product as featured refer to this article https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#section-9

  Hi

  no matter what i do the new and featured products panels on the main page remain exactly the same.
  please take a look
  it worked fine before the last update

  whenever i used to add a new product it would show on the main page as new without me having to change any settings to say it was new.
  if i add a new product now the main page just stays the same.

  I’ve changed the Product Type (http://prntscr.com/c6b3tf) in Products element to new and featured and they are different at Home Page. Please check.
