Legenda upgrade : icon box element changes colors

upgrading to 3.0 and 3.01 give the same problem :

8-theme icon box elements color scheme change without my intervention.

Reverting back to 2.11 and my child theme returns everything to normal.

what actually happens, is that it uses the specific color I set as ‘main color’ in the theme options/color scheme, as the background color for icon boxes.

On my live site, which runs 2.11 of the theme, the same color is set in the color scheme option, but it does not change the background of the icons.

On my DEV site, running 3.01, it does change the color.

Have you received the WP admin credentials?
Do you notice the difference between the live homepage, and the dev homepage ?

Hello,

The credentials are incorrect. Please check them.
As I understood you correctly you want to remove the background color for icons http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/16/0603/h_1464972509_7374133_62787130ab.jpeg don’t you?

yeah, i reset the password for another ticket here is the new one;

and yes, for some reason the background has changed color. So yes, those icons, but also the ones further down and on other pages.
It is the icon box type icon all over the site that has changed.

Hello,

There is css code in Appearance > Custom CSS:
http://storage9.static.itmages.com/i/16/0603/h_1464976858_5163384_9d5b99aa79.jpeg
Remove the class “.block-with-ico.ico-position-top i” from that code and background color for icons will be deleted.

Hi Eva,

i tried that, and it has no effect on the icons.
It has an effect on the top line : it adds the green color as a background of the top line.

I /*’d that whole part of the custom css, but it does not seem to make any difference on the icons.

on the dev
i deleted wp-admin/cache
i deleted wp-content/cache
i cleared my browser cache
i disabled the caching plugin

no difference, I am sorry

for fun I changed the ‘main color’ in the color scheme settings to a random flashy purple, and you can see the icon backgrounds change color immediately, so for me there is a link with that setting.

.block-with-ico.ico-position-top i { background-color: transparent !important; }

Please clear browser cache and check the site now.
