    Hello

I am wanting to feature these icons in the static block in footer 2 / We are social heading.

Options are only widgets and I’m wondering if there is code for this and social icons are limited to only FB, Twitter and G+. Why isn’t this in the Theme options?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

You need use [share] shortcode and to change links to your social accounts edit the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/shortcodes.php in line 1505 and change the link in the code, for example for facebook: <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u='.$permalink.'&images='.$image.'" target="_blank"><span class="icon-facebook"></span></a>
Replace http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u='.$permalink.'&images='.$image.' with your Facebook url.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

I didnt want to SHARE content, I was after Social ICONS so I could have them visible in the footer. I’ve ended up putting line links in the footer instead. I am not a coder so this level of support was not good for someone like me. Ideally it wanted an BLUE facebook ICON and an INSTAGRAM coloured icon as well. What I’ve done will have to do unless you’re able to show me how to include these small image links next to the code i’ve put into the static block – footer 2. Instagram have a new look so it would have been cool to have this new icon. Let me know if this makes sense!

    Hello,

In this case we recommend you to use some social plugin where you can enter your social accounts links.

    Regards,

    Hi Eva

I tried to find a plug in but they are generally widgets and I’m not sure how to enter a widget into the static block. Never mind. You can close this ticket as it works ok for now.

    Thanks.
