Add tracking code and place it at the bottom of the section of every page

Hi,

i need to add a tracking code from Mailchimp to every page of my site at the bottom of the <head> section.

We use a child theme. Can you help me how to make this so it is safe when we make updates?

Hello,

Copy header.php file into child theme and add the needed code.
