  Hi, I’m using the standard posts/blog page. I would like to display a filter above my content that will display all of my post categories… making users able to click a category and have those posts display.
  This option is available in the portfolio page, but I can’t locate it for the posts page.

  Also, I am hoping that you can tell me how to use Visual Composer elements on the posts page.

  Lastly, I would like to disable the two hover icons on the posts page. I just want users to click directly on the picture in the posts page and be directed to the individual blog post page of their choosing.

  Hello,

  There is no such feature for posts page, but you can remove your Blog page from posts page template in Settings > Reading and use Posts Grid element in Visual Composer editor on your Blog page.
