    FIRSTLY
    20 months ago you guys helped me to make changes to my site. This was the old ticket: https://www.8theme.com/topic/dark-scheme-for-headerfooter-with-light-scheme-for-body/

    Today, these changes have been lost when I updated to the new version of the theme. I ask that you help me fix it once again.

    Here are two screenshots showing how it should look: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2973337/BombCommoditiesLarge3.png
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2973337/BombCommoditiesLarge2.png
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2973337/BombCommoditiesLarge.png

    Notice how the body is white, while the header and footer are gray.
    Also notice how the fonts are working properly.

    Please help me to fix the site so that it works once again.

    SECONDLY
    Notice on the Shop Page, all of the product categories aside from the first one reveal a PHP error. And, we are no longer able to select how we want to sort products; grid or list. Please help fix this.

    This time I created a child theme. And here is what I added to the child style.css
    It caused some problems so I since removed these items.

    /*
    Theme Name: Legenda Child
    Theme URI: https://www.8theme.com/
    Description: Legenda Child Theme
    Author: 8theme
    Author URI: https://www.8theme.com
    Template: legenda
    Version: 0.0.1
    Text Domain: legenda-child
    */

    .page-content { background-color: white; }

    .header-wrapper.header-type-1 {
    background-color: #1F1F1F;
    }

    .footer-top {
    display: none;
    }

    .header-wrapper.header-type-1 {
    background-color: #1F1F1F;
    }
    .main-nav .menu > li > a {
    color: rgb(139, 139, 139);
    }

    .block-mask {display: none;}

    Hello,

    I’ve added the following code in Child Theme. Please check it.

    .page-wrapper,
    .page-content{
        background-color: #FFFFFF !important;
    }
    .header-wrapper,
    .main-nav,
    .menu-wrapper,
    .header .container,
    .top-bar .container{
     background-color: #1F1F1F;
    }
    .footer-top {
        display: none;
    }
    .page-content {
        margin-bottom: 0px;
    }
    .main-nav .menu > li > a {
        color: grey;
    }
    .product-loop{
        position: initial;
    }

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Thank you Robert! I think that this looks great. I will double check and let you know if something is not correct.

    Please notice the PHP error found on all but the first category of product on the shop page.
    See Screenshot https://infinit.io/_/uKuXG9W
    See Link http://commoditybomb.com/product-category/herbs/

    Please let me know if you can fix this or identify the problem.

    Thank you.

    Also,
    I also notice that the search engine is not working on the web browser. Meaning, when I do a search it looks like it is trying to search blog posts instead of the products. For example, on my Mac if I search for Marshmallow the search results show: No Posts were found! This does not seem to happen on my mobile device.

    Do you know why this would be?

    Actually I figured out the search part.

    Also here is another issue we have:

    Search is still not working. When I search for Marshmallow, Marshmallow items do come up. But if I search for anything else (Damiana, flower, almond, scented), it is not working. If I flush my cache the page reloads with the correct search results?!?!?! But then I type in something else to search and I still get No Posts were found! There is still a glitch there.

    Please note when I do a search on my mac at the top of the page it says
    ________DAMIANA________
    HOME/SEARCH RESULTS FOR “DAMIANA”
    Each item is listed with the item name, posted on date my name (I do not want my name showing) and the description.

    When I search on my phone it says:

    SEARCH RESULTS: “DAMIANA”
    HOME/SHOP/SEARCH RESULTS FOR “DAMIANA”
    Each item is listed with the item name, the price and a select option button.

    Please let me know if you know how to fix this. I believe search worked fine before the update to the latest theme version.

    And lastly, why does it say Legenda V 0.0.1 when I have installed v 2.10.0?

    Hello,

    To fix category errors you just need to resave category in Products > Categories > edit a category and click “Save”.

    I’ve reuploaded theme files. Please check search form now.

    You see Legenda V 0.0.1 because you activated child theme and this version is written in style.css of your child theme.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Thank you!

    Did I install the theme wrong. What I did was, first I switched to a default WP theme.
    Then I renamed the folder for the Legenda theme.
    Then I dragged the new Legenda folder via FTP.
    Then I added the Child folders.
    Then I activated the child theme.

    What did I do wrong here?

    Hello,

    Why do you think you installed the theme incorrectly?
    Please clarify it.

    …because you had to reupload some theme files. I figured that you would only have to do that if I did something wrong.

    Hello,

    The issue was in the theme code, and that’s why we reuploaded fixed files for you.
    You did nothing wrong.
